Cyber Monday, one of the biggest days of the online retail year, is almost here.

How did it All Begin?

Since the 1950’s, Black Friday has been one of the most important shopping days of the year for many retailers. Originally, Black Friday marked the start of the winter shopping season, with great deals to encourage holiday shoppers. But since 2005, shoppers have had a second chance to save with the online holiday called Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday is no doubt a very established part of our shopping culture. With online retail set to grow, so will its importance. In fact, last year, Cyber Monday hit a new record at $6.6 billion, making it the largest online shopping day in US history.
